Then his grin turned into a smile when the Slytherin boy introduced himself and offered his hand to him. Yay! New friend! He quite much liked having new friends. New people meant more people to have fun with. ''Joshua Carter'' he said and laughed alittle when the other boy said that he was his hero. '' Come on. I have not done anything to gain that title.'' then smiling again he shoke hands with the Slytherin boy.
He shook the boy's hand and nodded as he introduced himself. Diggy needed more friends even if this one was a bit crazy for even attempting to kiss Lafay.
"Nice to meet you Josh," he told him easily. his stomach was settling down and he didn't feel like losing his lunch again.
"Anyone who kisses the scariest woman on earth and lives to tell the tale is a hero. And I've met some scary women. I'm related to a few of them." He grinned. Yep Paris was Grade A scary in Dillon's book.

Carter then made a mental note to buy bezoars (and lots of them).
He held his hand out for the other boy.
"Diggy Greenwood." he told him.
