Gemological energies, gem therapy and gemstone pharmacy all have a role, but none of them is going to help if the runes are being used as a simple language. On the other hand, if the same runes are being used to heal someone, the knowledge becomes both useful and applicable. Of course, there are cases where more than one gemstone has been attached to a particular rune. Like you said, opinions can clash."
