Lukas blushed and looked at his knees. "Yeah," he said softly, "that's it basically." He looked up mournfully, "Well, it's fun to play." "But, I'm sure Quidditch is fun too," he added hopefully. His mother did think he ought to try playing it so should be pretty decent and Enya seemed to like it.

He blushed again. He opened his mouth to speak but his sentence disappeared when he coughed. He tried again but only produced a squeak. He cleared his throat and muttered inaudibly. He looked at her. Then he realised she couldn't have heard what he'd said. He looked around. There were a few people but none of them were close enough to hear what he said. He sucked in a deep breath and leaned across to place his lips close to Enya's ear. Her hair smelled nice he thought. "I don't know where the nurse is," he whispered to her.
