I just.. don't think you know me well enough to see me in my full state of depression just yet." He smiled at her. Yeah, that was a bit of an exaggeration, but a few days after Christmas it would be the one year anniversary of his twins death. So, in the circumstances, maybe not an exaggeration. "I don't want to scare you away when I haven't got to know you properly." He winked at her. She was sweet, thinking about his happiness. But he wouldn't be too happy this particular holiday.
Katrina blushed, her face definitely bright red, when he tilted her chin up to look at him, her heart was pounding.
"It's... It's no problem at all, I just thought that... you know, being alone and everything, it, it's not exactly the best thing to do over Christmas and all that," Katrina babbled, sputtering like an idiot. Smooth, really smooth.
"And it's perfectly alright, I mean... and stuff..." she continued to ramble randomly, wondering how much more of a fool she was going to make herself seem. Her face must be over boiling point right now.
