Monique began reaching toward the key when she realized that it had just been under a burning bush. She should probably wait for it to cool down. But who had time for that? She'd cool it down herself.
After turning off her wand light she aimed her wand at the key. "Aguamenti." she said once again watering the area. After a few minutes she stopped the flow of water and bent forward to pick the key up.
Hopefully it wasn't still hot.
The key hisses as it cools, but it is eventually cool enough to touch. It is heavy in your hand as you pull it out.
Light continues to stream in from the holds the stalk has caused, though the rest of the cave seems still.
