Serena sat down beside Skye and sighed. "My day has been pretty good. It is a bit cold outside but thank goodness for the fire here in this Common Room." She gave an involuntary shudder for some unknown reason as she said this even though she wasn't feeling cold in any way whatsoever. Maybe it was the idea of going back outside that made her do that.

With a little awkwardness, Serena asked Skye. "Do you have siblings or is it just you and your folks?"
