Especially in December.
Change of subject? Ch'yeahh. "So, umm, anything planned for christmas?" He asked. His attempt to lighten the mood was pathetic, but so what? Christmas was soon, right? Yeah, a safe question. Hopefully.
Katrina nodded.
"That's good to know... so I suppose I'd be able to find you at the nearest cafe or coffee shop then," she teased. She smiled, for some odd reason it felt like she would be able to tell him anything. That was nice.
"Well... there's still the ice cream tomorrow as well," she added with a grin. Ice cream in cold weather? Sounded yummy. Hehe.
Christmas...
"Uhm... nothing in particular, just with my father and siblings," she said as she shook her head.
"Probably dinner at home and just a tree that needs decorating along with the half eaten gingerbread house," Katrina added. Where Serene would eat the house and pretend she didn't and all the candy canes on the tree would go missing from her father. Then there would be the hidden presents from her brother. However she was looking forward to it.
"Uhm... you?" she asked, not really sure if she should've asked that.
