"My name, Kurumi, actually means chestnut in English so...I thought giving my cat a matching name sounded like a good idea." She scratched Walnut behind the ears and the cat purred.

Walnut looked at Cam again and jumped onto her lap. Standing on her hind legs and using the front ones for balance, Walnut tried to get a good sniff of Cam's face.
