"C-could he possibly m-mean that the universe is eternal b-because it has always been a-around, but that it has a b-beginning because that is as far b-back as we can d-date it? And, um, that the u-universe is infinite, and the e-edge is as far as we h-have been able to s-study?" She didn't know if that was the right answer, but at least it made since to her.
