Quite out of character for Jack, you'd think he'd like Defence Against the Dark Arts, but he did find Astronomy really fascinating. and, considering home-schooling meant his parents could be selective on the curriculum, Jack was rather excited that he got to be taught something that actually sounded interesting, and not monotinous at all.
