Her next words, however, made the Slytherin smirk and he reached out to poke her in the ribs. “So you find the idea of me dying at the hands of the Willow so hilarious funny. Thanks a lot, Cam... and here was I thinking you were actually growing to like me.” heh. Yeah.. there was the argument that he WANTED to attack the tree and get his branch.. but not when he was in a hyper sugar induced haze of oblivion thanks very much.

Urgh.. Again with saying the wrong thing. What was wrong with not liking fancy cookies? Sometimes he wished he knew exactly what went on in his girlfriend's head. He eyed her as she averted his eyes. Did everything seriously come back to being about her? Was that what she thought? Seriously, Oliver had an ego, yeah, but this was self-centredness of an entirely different kind. “Cam.. they're delicious.” He said taking another bite and chewing slowly. “Whatcha want me to do? Write a song and do a little dance about how amazingly awesome they are?” S.A.R.C.A.S.M. hehehe!

“That's cos I'm nice to them?” He smiled. “They don't like it when you scowl at them. They take it as a sign of hostility.” As did most humans, but Oliver found it oh so cute on Cameron's pale face. What a strange boy he was.
He rolled his eyes. Trixie had said something similar about his Head Boyness the other day too. He just wasn't very good at it, was he? They should have chosen some kid with a permanent halo. “Yeah.. but the firsties wont find out about this, will they?” He smirked and gave Cam a look – no 'rumour' spreading. That would be uncool.

He laughed. He couldn't help it. That dirty drainpipe cackle of his dared to raise it's ugly head and guffaw at Cam's insecurities. “You ARE my squishy. You give the best cuddles.” HE winked and left it as that. She wasn't ruddy fat!

A canopy of rather girlish dark lashes fluttered as he closed his eyes when Cam kissed his forehead. Le sigh. So.. sweet. He was becoming such a mushy sap the more time he spent with this chick. She trusted him. He trusted her. Those words spoke volumes to the Snake.

But of course such moments never lasted and Oliver was back to grinning amusedly yet again. “No.” He replied. “But you can be weird sometimes, Cam.” He teased playfully. “You could always use it as an excuse NOT to be in any pictures.” He suggested in all seriousness. “No one's gonna argue with your beliefs.” Crafty. He wasn't a snake for no reason, was he? “..But, you know, I reckon a photograph preserves your spirit. Captures a moment in time for long after you're gone.” And there was nothing wrong with 'character' in a shot for that reason alone – hell, it was a good thing in Oliver's opinion.

Killed? He closed his eyes and shook his head, then opened them and gulped. It WAS possible even if the chances were VERY slim, but the lad had been blocking it. Looking at the positives only. “You're not gonna die.” He said softly. “I reckon Tate would throw himself in front of any impending doom if he thought any of the champions were in that much trouble.” He polished off his cookie and eyed the box. Would she let him have another? “But, no, to answer your question, I wont hate you.”

He knew it. He knew it because he had done the same thing when he put his name in the goblet. Beneath the cocky façade he felt as if he had something to prove too. Not quite on the same scale as Cameron, but to the people who thought he was all talk and no action... and he KNEW people thought that of him. He smiled a little and nodded. He understood.

By the way Cam was talking, this was it.. the big deal. They were a 'proper' couple who would one day have responsibilities like paying bills and keeping track of their budget. He shivered inwardly. He was still a child! Such things never crossed his twitchy brain. “Who needs that when you've got a Trixie to do it for you?” He winked. Snort.

He continued with the face pulling and nodded. “Oh look there's a camera!” He went crossed eyed. “Oh nooooo.. that's gonna be a baaad one!” BAHAHAH! He smoothed out face back into it's cherub-likeness and grinned. “You sound like my mum.” Wind changing and all that shizz.
He shrugged. “I know. We could ask Tatertot. It's for a good cause after all...”
It was a stupid analogy but it made sense. She was a chocolate chip cookie.

"Do you want another?" She asked randomly. There weren't any bloody fancy soufflé's around. However, that cake he'd brought with him looked hella fancy.

Oh man.. she really was crazy.

Owww! She squirmed away from him, poking out her tongue. Cookie or not, she still loved him and he'd said he loved her. Shouldn't that be enough?
"I am actually growing to like you.. slowly. It's a trying process, babe." She grimaced apologetically and then laughed. "I'd protect you," She joked with a wink. Oh for deffz. The red head was hella intimidating against a 50ft willow tree.

Could they just STOP talking about the bloody cookies? She handed him the box. "Have some." And that was sort of a new topic..
URGH.. "Thanks.. there's a bit too much sugar.." But she stopped herself. What was that proverb thingymabob? Silence is shiny? .. No wait.. Silence is golden! Twas the shizz. And the dude that thought that up was right on.
A dance? For the cookies? "You don't have to go quite that far.." He wasn't gagging or anything so they couldn't be that bad.

PSH. Cameron pouted. "I'm niiiiiiiiiice toooooooo!' Heh. But he made a fair point. She did always go in there when she was feeling crappeh and she always made a mess.. and she never cleaned it up.
And anyway.. "I don't scowl all the time, Oliver!" *scowls*

Bah. Firsties. Kyute ickle things. "What's the shifty face for?" She asked innocently. She wouldn't tell, right? HEH.
But she didn't understand why HE all of a sudden was acting so blasé about it. "I wouldn't tell them." *angelface*

She pouted at him as he laughed and jabbed him in the ribs. "Pffffffft! You better watch it, boi." Squishy. Fat. Same chit.
But he was squishing and she giggled. "Gerrof mee," She swatted at him. He was so biiiiiiiiiiig. "You've grown," She commented, eyeing off his long arms and biiiig hands. He was suuu tall.

And he was so adorable. Eyes closed and looked utterly angelic, he looked extremely innocent. Oh, how deceiving. Laughing softly, she rolled her eyes.

Oh. THANKS. She poked her tongue out. "Whatever. I'm not changing. I'm not photogenic. I don't LIKE photo's." But whoever Oliver was getting this weird 'photosoulstealing' shizz from was MIGHTY weird.
"Is that cos they just think I'm the crazy girl?" She wondered when that label would unstick. It was getting slightly tedious. "I'm not actually crazy.." She mumbled. You didn't see her talking to trees and hoarding cats.

Yet.

She laughed brightly. "That was waaaaaaaaaaaaay too deep, babe." Captures her spirit? All people would see was flaming red hair and a scowl. Oh how delightful.

It wasn't a good sign when you 'joked' about dying, and your boyfriend sort of hesitated. She flicked him. "Will you stop it? You're worse than Lori.." And said Glitterpuff had been screaming about death at the top of her lungs. Mega awkward for Cam.
Oh.. and he wouldn't hate her if she DID die. "Thanks. It makes a world of difference to me when I'm pushing daisies whether or not you harbour feelings of hate towards me. REALLY, thanks." Sarcastic even about death. This girl was really something else.

She frowned at him a bit, her grimace pulling at the sides. She didn't like this side of their conversations. The overly intense sides. They usually lead to Cam's defensive and catty behavior and she didn't like that side of HERSELF.
"But .. doesn't really matter now. I have to prove it to the whole school." Who would respectively watch her fail. How fun that would be.. >.<

"Baaaaaaabe, you've got to tell me when I start sounding like Brodin." Budgeting. WTF. Cameron couldn't even manage her own wages let alone a household. Hehehe. Trixie. "Do you reckon if we gave her water and fed her occasionally we could lock her in a room just to do our homework?" Trixie would finish her NEWTS with more than flying colours. She'd probably get dux of the year.

She curled up, her knee's and hands pushing her hair over her face as she hid. "NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" She didn't LIKE being in photos. *pouttttttttt* Even this pretend one. His mum? No comment on that one.

That actually sounded like a good idea. "You can do the talking. He doesn't like me very much." Then again, he'd asked her twice to move away from the staff table and she'd just stoood there gawking at Professor Zookara. Awkward..
