Good, good. He wasn't putting up a fight. Raiden lifted the bandaged arm, holding it up with one hand so he could get clearer access at Dakest's side. Those marks were... ew. They weren't as deep as the ones on his arm, thank Merlin, but... well every mark was of worry to Raiden. This was Sabel, his friend. He was not allowed to duel with Danika anymore. No, just no.

His mouth twitched at Sabel's response, and a small, bemused smirk appeared on his face. These two... honestly. Stern had the same methods.

"You're deflecting," he said quietly, eyes never leaving the marks on Sabel's side as he carefully wiped away the bit of blood there. "Stern did the same. Didn't want to answer what I'd asked straight out, so he asked me about the tournament."

He wasn't all that bothered about it though. If they didn't want to tell him, whether it was for trust or for not wanting to make him worry... well that was their business. Even if it was annoying as all get-out.

"Tournament stuff's fine. Nia said she'd help me library dive, and I've been sleeping a bit more, yes. The exercises I used to do when I was younger are actually helping a lot."

He was even eating occasionally. Better than before, definitely.

Giving Sabel's shoulder a nudge, he leaned the boy forward slightly and conjured bandages. They probably didn't need to wrap all the way around him, but there was less chance of Sabel accidentally ripping them off that way... He lowered Sabel's arm and snatched the shirt out of his lap.

Blood was wet and cold right then. No way was Dakest putting this back on like this. Raiden started siphoning it out silently, eyes flicking to observe his friend.

"Leave the bandages on for at least twelve hours... overnight would be awesome. That'll give the ointment time to work, and if you're lucky it'll go far enough that you won't have scars."

Scars weren't all that great. He handed the shirt back to Dakest and picked up the detached sleeve.

"Want me to reattach it?"
