Something New Part II

It was already the start of May and the summer was getting bad, with scorching heat in the days and warmer nights the students were sweating out in the castle to get through the last part of their term.

It was a Saturday that day when Ginny got up and got dressed for a Hogsmeade trip. She had decided to get on and do all the last minute stationary shopping she would need just before her exams would start.

Walking down the corridor after an early breakfast, Ginny made her way towards the Gryffindor Tower to check on Sara. It was still early and Ginny had time before she left for Hogsmeade.
On entering she saw quite a lot of her batch mates fast asleep in the common room itself with their heads on their books or books on their stomachs and sleeping. She chuckled. Ginny too wasn’t feeling that great. Looking at the sleepy friends she stifled a yawn herself. She looked around to see if Sara was there and just then she heard someone stir and Ginny walked to see where Sara just then woke up
“hey ‘morning”
Sara smiled and nodded back
“how you doing?”
“oh, terrible” rubbing her eyes
“that’s good” said Ginny plopping next to Sara as she sat up properly on the couch.
“you?” she asked sleepily.
“oh dreadful”
“that’s awesome” mumbled Sara tying her hair up in a bun and Ginny laughed and slapped her hand “ow!” and Sara frowned and rubbed her hand.
“So, Hogsmeade?” Ginny asked
“nah…you go ahead”
“you sure? I mean we can have just some break, will help you get back to your work fresh minded” she said
“no, I guess I am fine” she said tiredly and exercised her head around her neck and rubbed her hand at the back of her neck and Ginny shook her head.

After an hour or so Sara bid her friend bye at the Entrance Hall as she went back to the Gryffindor Tower.
Reaching the Tower she walked up to the window of the common room that opened up to the grounds. Sara saw the students piling in to the coaches to go to Hogsmeade. After seeing the last of the coaches leave Sara turned around and walked to the table and drew a parchment and quill near her as she sat down and began to write a letter…

As the coaches reached the Hogsmeade Town Ginny got down in her pale yellow cotton, sleeveless button down shirt and white three fourths and white flats with her red hair in a high pony tail. The street was as usual crowded with people moving, running around their errands. Ginny first made her stop at the Three Broomsticks for a round of large chilled butterbeer. Butterbeer was her favorite drink, not because of its taste and smooth texture but because it is a perennial drink. One could have a chilled one in summers and a warm one in winters.
As she bought her large butterbeer and turned to look for a seat she saw a familiar blonde there. Smiling Ginny made her way towards the pale blue summer dress, radish ear-ringed girl with her long blonde hair held lightly in a bun, with strands framing her face and looking dreamily somewhere into the space in front of her. As Ginny was making her way to the table where Luna was sitting she found a young guy looking at her friend dazedly and that made Ginny chuckle.
‘well, Luna does look pretty’ she thought and then sat down in front of her friend
“hey there dream girl” she said
“oh, hey Ginny” Luna said coming out of her revere.
“Bright day, isn’t it?” she asked
“oh yeah, very and you seemed to be making even more bright for someone else out here” Ginny said softly and casually shifted in her seat to let Luna have a look at the guy who was looking at her dreamy eyed for so long. As Luna saw him he turned away blushing and Luna giggled and Ginny smiled.

The girls sat there and chit chatted for a while and just as they were done and were about to leave Ginny saw a light brown headed girl emerge from the door of Three Broomsticks along with Shaun?
