Gah. "Dylan, I know it is hard for you being away from Gold, but can't you be happy for me? There is nothing that I can do or say to make the pain you feel from being apart from her any better. I love you though and I am here for you." She gave him a pat on the shoulder as reinforcement.

"How do you know mum and dad won't let me go with just Finlay? But if they don't like it I will do as you said, but you can't stay with us. You will have to go to Gold and stay there until it is time to go home. Deal?"
