Stuck inside with Sirius | *Splish-Splash* | bamBAM | ☁ Spooktacular ☁

"Uh-huh," Nia answered, with a semi-stern look and a nod. "Staying fit and healthy should be top on your list of priorities right now. Sleep comes into that." She could quite easily go into a Captain style speech about good nutrition and sleep and having the edge, but Raiden probably didn't need a lecture. Though thinking about it, a long monotonous lecture might bore him into sleep and help. Ahem. Anyway.

No breakfast? No wonder he was forgetting things. No brain food. She was very tempted to haul him down to the Great Hall right there and then. But force feeding most likely wouldn't help. He'd probably just hate her for it. And that'd be no funsies.

"You ever tried using a gel pouch or energy drink?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. She dug around in her shorts pocket, and pulled out a silver sachet type thing that looked a tad space age. "Muggle invention for sport," she said by way of an explanation. "Energy, but easy on the stomach. Might be worth a try." She'd used one before she went for her run, so that food wouldn't be slopping around her belly and give her cramp. "Jelly babies are good too."

"How helpful," Nia muttered. Was Miles scaremongering, or telling the truth? Admittedly, Nia didn't know her co-prefect much more than his Quidditch skills. Maybe she should make an effort and find out.

"So you don't aim for the scales," she answered logically. That's what she would have brought to the tournament. Logic. Thought. Common sense. And athletic ability. "I'd go for the eyes," she added as an afterthought. "Anyway, what did Truebridge say?"

"I'm here if you need me," she said with a smile. There might have even been a hint of a blush if her skin hadn't still been warm from the run. "Smarter is probably the wrong term. But, I'm someone to bounce ideas off. And practice with or on too." Maybe she might learn something. Some new spells. New facts. She certainly wouldn't mind scouring the library for more of a reason than just pure enjoyment.

"True," she admitted. "But you're still chosen as a Champion. You've still got strengths. Abilities. Support. And we can learn from history." Would she still have been this level headed if she was in the tournament? It was an interesting thought. Maybe the Goblet thought she wouldn't be.

As for knowing what the task was? "We can always try to find out..." A small smile crept across her lips.
