Mia grinned at the look on Carter's face as he spoke of his sister. Even though she was an only child biologically, Mia had plenty of kids in the commune that she considered to her brothers and sisters. "That's a pretty name. I can see that you absolutely adore her."

She sat back up and tucked her hair behind her ears. "So what do you think about this whole Triwizard thing?"

Carter smiled. "Thanks. Same here." he said. "I'm actually a pretty good listener... you know, when I'm not doing all the talking." he said with a little laugh. "And I promise none of that rhyming stuff." Plus, even if he tried, he was sure he was incapable of rhyming. He wasn't that clever.

"Yeah. She's just the cutest, sweetest little girl in the whole wide world. I was a little nervous when I first met her, but it feels like she was always meant to be part of the family, you know?" he said staring off into space. It was interesting to look back at all the feelings he'd had about the situation. He was angry at first, then unsure, and now he couldn't imagine a life without a sister.

He shrugged. "I don't really know much about it. But I hear... a lot of people have died." he said. "Things have been kind of rough here the past couple years... I would think they would try to avoid putting people purposefully in danger." he said.

Other than that... the idea was wicked cool! He actually couldn't wait to see the competition.
