Post Exclusive: New Jessie Cave photos & quote from London production of Breed

It was announced earlier this month that Jessie Cave, Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter series, would be starring in the London production of Breed at Theatre 503. SnitchSeeker has received several images from the production featuring Jessie, as well as a quote from the actress about why she chose the role. The high-resolution images can be found in our galleries; the quote and more details about the play are below.

Quote:
The Play

“From the night you were born, puppy, I knew I’d do anything for you.”
Liv is in trouble - her mum’s planning a dog fight, her dad’s getting out of jail, her brother's getting too close to her baby, the police are sniffing around and the pack is closing in. A sharp and savage story of the animals we are and the people we try to be.

Breed - In Jessie Cave’s Own Words

“As soon as I read the script of Breed, I knew that I wanted to be involved. The play is original, topical, and urgently needs to be seen. Any actor would have jumped at the chance to play this role, but it’s particularly exciting for me to be cast so completely against type and do something unexpected.

I’m really enjoying being part of the off-West End theatre scene, which is such an artistically rewarding place. It’s a joy to work on a modern script, the emotion is immediately accessible and there’s so much freedom for us as actors. Lou Ramsden is enormously talented and definitely one to watch. Her writing gave me goosebumps and I can’t wait to share it with an audience.”
Jessie stars in the play alongside John Michie, Deirdre O’Kane, Tom Reed, and Paul Stocker, which will run from September 21 - October 19 at Theatre 503 in London. For more information, including purchasing tickets, go here.
