Sirius made a snort like sound deep in his throat then wiped his temple; “Professor McGonagall will not stomach this one” he trailed thoughtfully at the ground with a raised brow, a very curious raised brow.
“I must say” James whistled placing his hands on his hips, “and I’m head boy, I should investigate, but this one I’ll take a pass on for the same reason my friend” he bit his lower lip thoughtfully.
“Think we should leave him here” he ignored Snape’s eye roll and looked at James, “I mean he’d only tempt me to do something when he speaks and well I know I won’t resist”.
James tilted his head, then mentally thought of the things he could hurt Snape with for spending time with Lily against his wishes, but he was sure he’d go tell on him, not that he cared but this weekend was special and he was not going to ruin. Not for Snivellus’s sake.
“So…?” Sirius looked up from Snape’s frozen body to catch James’s eyes, “walk away?”
“I guess soo” he nodded, made to take two steps forward then took a step back and kicked Snape’s thigh, “I’m ready to move on”.
