She was sure they were, though. Looking up at the Gryffindor, she gave an apologetic smile as Evelyn told him they weren't going to share a tent with him, and they didn't need help.
"Yeah, we'll visit later. Like, if a bear comes. 'Cause there are bears in these neck of the woods, ya' heard?" Yeah, she heard that saying on the muggle box.
Standing up, she brushed the dirt off her knees before standing back and admiring their AWESOME skills. "I think we have enough poles in the ground now. We should just lay this blanket thing on top, right? In case of rain."
Or something. She really had no idea.
And with a last smile to Patroclus, Evelyn picked up another pole and tried to shove it into the ground.
This time though, since there was no sticks in the way, it totally worked. Though it was wobbly some. Sighing, she banged it a few more times in the ground until it was about three fourths of her height. THERE! And it will stay there. Totally.
Placing the poles in a way where the blanket plastic thing would actually stay onto the poles, and make the thing look like a tent though, was still not crossing her mind. What did cross her mind, was how many poles Destiny had put in the ground already. Eesh! Picking up another one, Evelyn tried her luck and put all her strength into this one...
It seemed that it was fine once the pole was in the ground. And poking it, it didn't seem like it would fall over. WOOT!
"We just...place it on top? Just like that?" They didn't have to do anything to it? That was cool then she supposed. Less work. Besides, her arms were tired.
"Do you think, we should have moved somewhere away from the lake water?"
