Each word the French girl pronounced echoed in his mind and he immediately turned to look at Patroclus then at Evelyn and vice versa. Was not Patroclus blushing because of the French girl or was there something he did not know?

And seeing Patroclus was looking at Evelyn, he turned his gaze to the Slytherin girl as well.

Turning to look at Patroclus, a bit of a confused expression on her face no matter how much she tried to hide it, she found that he was staring back. At HER. Oh....ohhh....

He was...blushing because of the French girl....right?

....Right?

Just the thought of it being the other thought made herself blush. But, wait, NO! Josh was here! Turning to look at the other Gryffindor, she found that he was staring at her also. This was horrible timing. That French girl...Breanne or whatever her name was...KNEW what she was doing. Pfft, Ev had to admit though, she would've done just about perfect in Slytherin. Glancing between the two, the Slytherin nervously laughed, trying to play it off cool. Not working so well. "Ummm...whaaat?"

And why was Carter staring at her? Wasn't he drooling over the foreigners? OMg, where was MARIE?! Or Destiny? "We should...we should gooo..." Right. Grabbing Josh's and Patroclus' arms, she tugged slightly on both, praying to Merlin that they'd follow. She only had two arms though so she couldn't really grab Carter. Evelyn thought though that he wouldn't care if he was left behind. Just hope that Marie didn't see him.

Patroclus could feel Josh's eyes on him, but he did not dare tear his from Evelyn.

When he had decided to head to the Goblet of Fire, this was not at all what he had been expecting. Frozen, unable to talk or think, Patroclus just stood there, silencing out Carter's lame attempts at French.

As Evelyn began to react, Patroclus was still unsure as to how to continue, however the choice was made from him. As her hands wrapped around both his and Josh's Patroclus allowed Evelyn to drag him away.

The Champion's had been announced.
