Logic put her unsipped coffee in the sink without even thinking about it and immediately headed to her room to pack her things. With the thoughts going through her head, the fact that she was actually going was quite incredible. She didn't want to. She had a life there now. The fact of the matter was that being Ryan Anthony was so much better than being 'Beryl Robin' (I mean, who wanted their name to be Beryl anyway??)
But still, Logic was packing her things without saying a word. It was her responsibility now. It was all of their responsibilities. And it was them she was doing it for - not the ones who had suffered the same fate since she had ten years ago, but those who had suffered it with her. Augie, Lisette, Jeffery, Seth, Laryn, Frenchie.....
Speaking of which, she hadn't seen him in awhile. She paused in her packing to frown and look around the room as if he were going to suddenly materialize there at her nonverbalized wish for it. Still frowning she threw her last shirt in her suitcase and zipped it up, holding back a sigh that wanted to pass across her lips.
