Hogwarts RPG Name: Reincarnation "Carr" Jones First Year | Muse of Xevis > | < Defender of Trearlonis > | < Elder of Gostrenac > | < Daughter of Eshoza OOC: My apologies for not having been more clear. This is 10 years AFTER the events of the previous RP, for all of my returning players.
Also, I've decided to install a reward system in this RP. For any post I feel that has gone above and beyond, the character shall receive a small snippet of memory or a small item as a reward. I'll include those below.
One other thing, and this one is IMPORTANT! If you don't feel like you character would want to completely leave his or her life behind to go back to England only to fight more of the same old battle you've escaped from... DON'T GO. Simple as that. Chances are, I will utilize the plot in such a way that it will drag you back to England kicking and screaming ( ), but please, please, please: Do what you think your character would do. Even the characters that have memory loss. Do what YOU would do in the situation. That is all. XD
And... these are not in order of post. SPOILER!!: phoenix_tears Quote:

He's been promoted throughout his working career, as he had a knack for spotting criminals and as his superiors called it a 'special gift' in dealing with law breakers. So now he had a whole office to himself and had been offered a place to study paranormal criminal minds at a police academy. He smiled widely as he entered his clustered office, he was very satisfied with his working career. He felt successful and had a goal in his life. Which made his life stable and made him a happy person, thankfully.
He walked to his desk and sat down there, waiting for the first call of his day. He was always eager about work. He noticed a small piece of paper on his desk, thinking that it was a message from a day-time collegue he picked it up and read what was written. He was stunned into silence, he didn't even notice his office phone ringing shrilly beside him. So this was it, his stunned brain told him. "The time had come for the fulfillment to begin." He whispered, as finally he realised what was going to happen. His brain untangled itself and he was able to think rationally once more. Then when that sentence had escaped his mouth, more writting appeared on the note. He read it carefully, then re-read what was written. So the time has finally come, the time when he had to go away, leave everything behind.
Sharp memories flooded his mind, and he remembered vividly the agreement that they had settled to; years ago. His thoughts were broken when Martin walked into his office fuming and shouting about a break in. Seth, Adriano, listened only half-heartedly and got up to his feet. He crumpled the note in his hand and put it in his pocket.
He decieded to finish his last shift, then he'd head back to his apartment and finish some last errand before leaving. Leaving back to England. He sighed and nodded at Martin, making his way out of the office. The break-in actually turns out to be worse than Martin first thought when he told you about it. The police showed up early as the silent alarm was going off. The burglar is still in the house, but now he has hostages--a single mother and her two sons, four and eight. A bit of a smile spread across his face, but he liked being Charlie. Charlie is an awesome name, but anyway. Looking at the note he whispered a few words "The time had come for the fulfillment to begin." and before his eyes the message morphed and changed, now reading... Dear recipient,
Per the agreement of our prior arrangement, we at the Unified Magical Being Relocation Affair are issuing a widespread call for all relocated persons to return to England as soon as is convenient. Those who do not return will be assumed captured or deceased. Please report immediately to the Hog's Head in Hogsmeade on August 14th to report to the head of U.M.B.R.A., Artemis Braker Jr.
The time is at hand.
U.M.B.R.A.
He folded the note up and placed it on his bedside table, where he had found it. He didn't have to go to work today ... did he? no, no he didn't. Good, he could pack. He rolled out of bed and started to pack ... without getting out of his nerdy striped pj's. You go to your closet and you sigh heavily as you look through your tattered clothes. There isn't really much of a dress code where you work (other than the name badge and the safari hat they make you wear), which means you tend to wear your regular clothes on walkabouts. Of course, this also means that much of your clothes have been torn and ripped by various animals. You still keep your lucky t-shirt that was shredded almost to pieces with a drop bear jumped out of a tree and onto your back. You still have a series of scars between your shoulders and you never could get all the blood out of the fabric, but it was still kind of a cool momento. SPOILER!!: Lindzers Quote:

She just went falling... flailing through the air with nothing to stop her...
Sienna (for that was now what she thought of herself as) woke up with a start, as her nightmare came to an end. Her throat was dry and her heart was pounding. Letting out a quiet sigh of exasperation she clambered out of bed. Sienna eyed the alarm clock sitting upon the bed side table.
5 am. She couldn't believe it. The dream had stolen another good night of sleep from her.
The girl crept across the room toward the light switch, doing her best not to trip over anything. Once she turned it on, she did a quick survey of the room... just because. That dream made her paranoid. Everything seemed to be in place. Shrugging the paranoia off, she made her way over to the closet. She might as well get ready for work, while she was awake. Sienna pulled her uniform on numbly, like she'd done nearly every day since she'd arrived there, and pinned the name tag on her chest.
She looked at herself in the mirror on the wall, staring placidly. The woman wasn't quite sure what to think. If it hadn't been for the mussed hair and the blank expression on her face she was so famous for, Sienna would have looked very pretty. At the moment, if she could be described with one adjective, though, the one to go for would be tired.
Not liking what she saw, she turned her back on the mirror and made a grab for the standard white tennis shoes. They were standing by the closet door.
As she pulled them onto her feet, Sienna noticed something funny, though. Not funny as in amusing... funny as in odd. She didn't recall ever leaving money in her shoe...
Or paper for that matter. Slipping it off her foot, Sienna pulled the paper out. The time is at hand. Her eyebrows creased as she read the words on the not. Melodramatic, much? Sienna thought she might know what this was about at the sight of those words. She didn't want to jump to conclusions though. And she definitely didn't want to give herself any false hope.
She was not disappointed though. As the letters began to rearrange themselves she nearly squealed. Her eyes widened a little when she finished. So it was time. Revenge time.
Slowly, a grin formed on her lips. Unable to contain her excitement, Sienna dashed out of her room and into the hallway, one shoe on and the other off. Her sister's door wasn't far from hers, thankfully. Sienna did hesitate outside of June/Jessica's door, but it wasn't long before she convinced herself that she would want to hear the news ASAP... That she was doing her a favor. "OIIII!" She raised her fist to pound on the wooden door. "Jessicaaaa!" she sang, in a cheerful voice that sounded almost unnatural coming from her lips. "I need to tell you something!" OOC: Moxy, this is wonderful. You're growing the character and you're one of my prize-winners. I'll let "Jessica" respond to you before I post to you guys, but I thought I'd let you know. SPOILER!!: phoenixfire12 Quote:

But, then again she couldn't remember much these days. The time is at hand, the note read. As she read it, Tamantha remembered something she felt had been missing for awhile. But the memory, was that what it was, or was she just imagining things, seemed distant like it was missing too many pieces to be reckognized. She felt in her gut that this, whatever she had just remembered was real, that it was part of the reason why she had been incapable of remembering things lately. "The time has come for the fulfillment to begin," she spoke the words to herslef, and as she spoke them she knew they were true. But what fulfillment was about to begin? Well of that, Tamantha wasn't quite sure. After she had spoken the words the note added more words onto the paper. It now told her she needed to go to the Hog's Head on August 14th.
She didn't have time to think about that now. She would try to figure out what was going on later. For now Tamantha needed to get dressed and get ready to go to work. Just because you find a magical note does not mean time stops and you no longer have responsibilities. OOC: You also win. Because you didn't immediately drop your life just because you got a magical note. XD Love it. Had you picked your own job? I don't remember. Would you like to? Or do you want me to assign you one? SPOILER!!: Gryffindoll Quote:

His dark eyes widened at the words scribbled on the paper, and his heart suddenly began to race, to beat a little faster. He had nearly forgotten about that… experience. He'd gotten used to life in Australia, he loved his new job, he found that he actually enjoyed carrying around a camera and seeing through its lens more than he had expected to when he first found the job. It was something exciting for him, and just when he though his life was made and he could live like a normal person… this note arrives.
He couldn't ignore this, though. He knew he, along with everyone else who had been in that room, was on a mission. He couldn't bail.
As soon as the wedding was over that night, the young man headed back to his apartment with a busy mind, many thoughts tangling themselves in his head. He wasn't very eager to head back to England, to complete that task they had been assigned so many years ago (I think this is years later… right?), not now when life was going so smoothly for him, when he'd found a steady job, something he had a passion for, and had learned to love life here in Australia. He was perfectly happy being Truman Rhys Othello, he didn't want to be Tristan Darius Coleman. Not again.
But despite all this, he knew he had no choice. So as soon as he reached his apartment, he got to work, pulling out his most valued belongings and beginning to pack. As you pack, you stumble across the old photograph of Lisette twirling in circles as she giggles at you and makes kissy-faces. SPOILER!!: McFeisty Quote:

He pulled the piece of paper out of his pocket and began to read. "The time is at hand."
It wasn't until a moment later, mid-reading that he noticed the other part of the note in the apron's side pocket. Curse the many pockets that Barista's aprons came equipped with. "Dear recipient,

U.M.B.R.A." He quickly read the note skimming sections that didn't pertain to him, it wasn't as if he was dead or anything to that extreme. "okay then, england here we come!" Quickly Niles put all of his belongings into a camping-style backpack he only had about 500 dollars american, a fake-passport which wasn't really all that important know...or so it would seem, and a few sets of clothing, all of his things fit into one bag. He quickly put on his last and final touch, three items he had come accustom to wearing as a way to blend in. Those being a worn in leather Jacket, a pair of thrift-store sunglasses aviator style, and a tattered news-boy cap.
It took Niles nearly five minutes to realize that his most important possession was still hidden in the cavity behind the false brick. It would be hard to do much of anything without your wand, now wouldn't it. OOC: I love this. I love the last paragraph so much, I can't even explain. You're the grand prize winner of this round. When you go to retrieve your wand, you find a small, dusty coin lying next to it in the cavity. It's not a currency you recognize at all, and you certainly didn't leave it there yourself. Suspicious... OOC: Before you get upset, I realize that not most of you who posted did not get a reply. That means leg it to Hogsmeade. |
