Adriano, Seth formerly, walked confidently into the police station, to start his night shift. He greeted his fellow co-workers smiling and made his way to his office which was located at the far end of the corridor. He's been promoted throughout his working career, as he had a knack for spotting criminals and as his superiors called it a 'special gift' in dealing with law breakers. So now he had a whole office to himself and had been offered a place to study paranormal criminal minds at a police academy. He smiled widely as he entered his clustered office, he was very satisfied with his working career. He felt successful and had a goal in his life. Which made his life stable and made him a happy person, thankfully.
He walked to his desk and sat down there, waiting for the first call of his day. He was always eager about work. He noticed a small piece of paper on his desk, thinking that it was a message from a day-time collegue he picked it up and read what was written. He was stunned into silence, he didn't even notice his office phone ringing shrilly beside him. So this was it, his stunned brain told him.
"The time had come for the fulfillment to begin." He whispered, as finally he realised what was going to happen. His brain untangled itself and he was able to think rationally once more. Then when that sentence had escaped his mouth, more writting appeared on the note. He read it carefully, then re-read what was written. So the time has finally come, the time when he had to go away, leave everything behind.
Sharp memories flooded his mind, and he remembered vividly the agreement that they had settled to; years ago. His thoughts were broken when Martin walked into his office fuming and shouting about a break in. Seth, Adriano, listened only half-heartedly and got up to his feet. He crumpled the note in his hand and put it in his pocket.
He decieded to finish his last shift, then he'd head back to his apartment and finish some last errand before leaving. Leaving back to England. He sighed and nodded at Martin, making his way out of the office.
