Realizing that he was now "one of those" vying for Hogwarts selection, he couldnt help but ask the next question "Uhm, other than me and uh... Diggy, who else do you know that has entered their name in the Goblet?"

Glancing off to the side, Salander spies a very young girl sitting alone not far from where they stood, he motioned to Grayson that perhaps the little girl needed some company. "Hello there!" he said as he squatted by her side. "Is it your first time to see the Goblet of Fire?"

"You're welcome," she said, trying not to giggle at the subsequent statement he'd made. "Very true. But at least it's a start, right?" She blinked as it seemed something else had occurred to him, though. Hmm. He was considering himself as someone she knew. She'd already made that leap, but that hadn't meant he would have. It was nice to find people who looked at things like she did. "Mmmm, not a whole lot. Half the people I know either graduated last term or aren't old enough." At least, as far as she knew. But she could still try to answer his question. "You, Diggy, um, Raiden. Cameron. And I guess you could sort of say I knew a couple of the visiting students." She'd met Aleksandra and Noel, at least. But she figured he wasn't really counting them in the discussion. Only Hogwarts.

But then he was motioning to her, and she glanced around. She hadn't noticed the little girl in her previous scans of the growing crowd, and paused as he went over to her. Part of her didn't want to give up her perch on the railing, but then the polite thing to do would be to go over. It seemed Salander sort of wanted her to, at least. Hopefully nobody would steal her railing and she could just come back later. After maybe making another new friend. Jumping off, she walked over in time to hear the question he'd posed, and another soft giggle crept out. "I think it's the first time any of us have seen the Goblet," she pointed out, before giving the girl a smile. "Hi." It was harder seeing what was going on from here, what with not having the height advantage anymore. But at least the girl could relate, she figured. Of course, said little gum-chewing girl needed to respond, but at least she'd made a move. Even if it was 'cause Salander had.

Uh-oh! Bigguns!

Haughtine visibly pouffed herself as if in attempt to make her small frame somehow bigger and smiled at the older students when they approached. She waved to the girl in an eager manner that caused the sleeve of her sweat to wiggle past her wrist and devour her hand. She looked at it, and then shoved it behind her back with a smile returning the salutations.

"Hello.", she remarked between chews. "I'm Haughtine." She searched the girls robes over to check her house. "What's your name?"

The boy that approached had a handsome face, as did most of their house, she noticed. He moved downward when he spoke to her and it made Haughtine feel less threatened and more eager to make conversation and understand more about the goblet. "Has anyone put their names in yet?"

"Well Rex you are brave," Daisy smiled and nodded. "This will prbably be the only time I ever get a chance to see it let alone sketch it perfectly detail for detail."
Haughtine tipped, but waved her arms to catch her balance. Her face automatically puckered into one of displeasure with furrowed brows, but it went away as fast as the girl apologized for bumping her. Haughtine side-glanced and saw that the girl was a sketch artist. "Are you drawing the goblet?" She swaned her neck and tilted her head back to try and get a peek (welcomed or not) at the work in progress. "Do you know any charms to make the flames move?"
