"No, no, of course not dear Noel." Monique said with an innocent smile. "We were merely complimenting them."

Yup, that explained their redness. "That one there speaks excellent French, this one is a quick learner, and that one over there, he is very special, he is the master of everything." she said pointing out each of the boys.
