Evelyn was sitting back, listening to all the others talk. Hehe, why talk when others did it for you? Besides, her opinion was already stated by a few others in the class, so she really didn't need to repeat it again.
But she had heard that saying before. The one the Headmaster had stated. Was this in the terms of a duel? Or a fight? Hmm, she hoped it was, because that was the only way she was able to explain the phrase. Which is what she was going to be explaining after she raised her hand.
"I believe it means that, in having a good offense such as keeping your opponent on their toes so to speak, you ultimately destroy their ability to attack. So really, why would you need to defend yourself...if don't need to defend yourself from anything?"
