Cosette sat by herself, giving herself all the more reason to think everything out easier. She didn't need any young children stifling up her creative thinking. After listening to the other students and thinking on her own accord, she raised a slender hand up in the air, ready to stake her own thoughts on the question.

"The Dark Arts is a vast range of things," she began, clearing her throat. "Besides dark creatures, there are dark objects. Magic itself can only be dark if the witch or wizard casting the spell, wields it with malicious content. That is how it becomes dark." That is what was so different between good and evil. They were the same spells, it was just who was casting it and what they were willing to do with the spell. Smiling, she put her hand down.
