Yeah dont scare her off pretty little thing...
He sighed, then started to search his pockets until something caught his eye at the Goblet of Fire.... What the dude?.... Salander stares at the Slytherin boy that crossed the age line-- and stops. He didnt approach the goblet, or have a piece of paper in his hand. Nothing. Part scowling, part smirking, Salander watched the event unfold as the boy was apprehended first by other students, then a teacher. He watched the poor lad grovelled at the teacher's feet. Oh boy, there goes your self-respect he smirked.
But then his eyes shifted to the apprehending faculty. "Muy caliente...". he whispered under his breath
At this point that teacher would have taken ALL of Salander's attention until the most ridiculous thing happened. The age-line crossing boy started changing shape-- and color. The boy shrunk and vanished until only his clothes were left on the floor. Where'd he go?... Salander wondered until one of the students fished something out of the pile and took out a little green bird. "Oookayyyyy. I guess we now have some idea of what happens when you're underage and try to crossing that line." Quote:

Gulp. Well, lets get on with it then.
Salander patted his pockets, trying to find for a piece of parchment or anything to write on. He rummaged through his messenger bag, then chanced upon his mother's unopened letter. Gingerly he unfolded it, but just as he saw the graceful scrawl he flipped it over and tore off a small blank piece. He didnt want anything to give him second thoughts. Not now.
He wrote his name down on the parchment, then just began to write Salem Academy of Shamanism and Sorcery. He caught himself and hurriedly crossed it out. He is a Hogwarts boy now. Get with the program Salander!
He stood up, gave Grayson a small salute with his fingers, and marched off towards the Goblet of Fire.
He reached the Age Line and with a deep breath, stepped over it. He paused for a moment, trying to feel if his back would give way or if he would grow a beard-- or worse, turn into a bird.
Nothing.
Smiling, Salander strode on towards the Goblet. He flicked the parchment in and saw it disappear amongst the flames. He stepped back, then turned towards the stairs where Grayson and many of the students enjoyed their vantage point. Taking up his messenger bag, he swung it over his shoulders, only realizing then that he was holding his breath since he flicked his name into the flames. He released his breath slowly. "Well thats that." Glancing back at the girl who had piqued her interest about the old stories, Grayson grinned a little, in sympathy, as she was told the girl didn't know anything about beards either. "Yeah, I don't know either. But maybe we can find someone who does," she said with a tiny nod, before giggling a little at the excitement over seeing someone with a beard. "We don't know if that'll happen this time," she reminded the other girl, before another grin split her face. "It would be seriously funny, though. But then whatever might happen could be too." Not that she was going to jump off the railing and find out. "He was," she agreed, glancing at the cup again as the other girl did, thinking about Harry again. And how if he hadn't gotten through that tournament, the world as they knew it probably wouldn't be around.
At that point, she was grateful for Salander responding to her earlier flippant question about his name. It was a distraction, at least. "I was just wondering," she said with a shrug. Although now she really wanted to find out his full name, if people were able to have more fun coming up with their own takes on it. That meant it had to be really interesting. Like, maybe even more interesting than the names and people she already knew. But at his next comment, she decided it wasn't worth asking. Even though he seemed awful flippant about it all, with the grin and wink. There was some sort of veiled threat in there, although that by itself usually didn't stop her. She'd just find it out some other way. But then another distraction presented itself, as it seemed a boy had tried to get past the Age Line, and Grayson's attention went back to the goblet as said boy suddenly transformed into a little green bird, after getting reprimanded by one of the new professors. "Guess so," she said as Salander commented on it all. "And it's not growing a beard or anything like that." Pity. Maybe she could concoct a potion or something so she could see someone grow a silly beard, cause she really wanted to see that now.
Oooh, but now the Beauxbatons people had arrived to submit their names, and she perked up a little as she saw Noel. At least there was someone amongst the visitors who seemed to try to be nice. To her, at least. She contemplated saying something, before she realized Salander had resumed his personal full body search. Or whatever he was doing. Glancing over at the Slytherin boy again, she saw him tear off a piece of parchment. Oh. Maybe he was gonna submit his name too. That made all his questions earlier make sense, along with the uncomfortableness when she'd been cheering for Diggy submitting his. But she couldn't help but peek as he scribbled on the parchment. Ooooh, so that's what he was hiding, she thought, seeing his name written out. It oddly reminded her of violins, but she stayed quiet as he saluted her. Maybe he hadn't seen her look at the note. Hopefully. Her green eyes followed him as he strode up to the Age Line, and successfully crossed. Once the parchment had burned up, she grinned as he turned back. "Well, good luck," she called out. She meant it, too. She'd say the same to anyone that submitted their name that she knew, cause it would make it so much more fun cheering for Hogwarts if they got chosen.
