"I'm not really sure. Perhaps it's because he cares for us? Or err, dunno. And I've no plans on asking Mr. Masterson that question. Must have earned myself a detention or worst, I must hurt his feelings." He was quite a sensitive guy. But was insensitive at most times.
And oh, okay. So she didn't want to study them just yet. Perhaps she changed her mind when she saw him? That wasn't impossible, right? Cedric then chuckled as she asked him back in an almost prompting tone. And he got enticed by her eyes again. Cedric looked her in the eye, fully fixing his gaze at her. Not wanting to wander it about.
Could he kiss her? Ugh, he'd been fighting the urge to do so...
He flicked his eyes a few times as she spoke again. "That's great," was all he said, and he just smiled at her, apparently temporarily transfixed. The girl was... magic. Very enchanting. And she giving him her most charming smile ever imaginable nearly drove him... crazy.
Well, sorta.
He needed a distraction.
She was waiting for some extraordinary story about that Mr. Masterson he was talking about.
Oh, okay, so the man was caring? This was the second time she'd heard that about Hogwarts Professor and Staff. Danika smiled, she wouldn't want to get him into trouble or anything but,
"Vhy do you not ask him? The vorst thing that could happen is him not ansvering" she said, still holding that smile, as if daring him to do so. And if he did, then would Cedric come and tell Danika the answer?
Still holding the Ancient Runes book in her arms, the girl seemed oblivious to whatever intentions Cedric had in his mind, but he'd forgotten to blink again. Perhaps it was something common?
But she noticed something,
"You have veautiful eyes, Cedric" not as beautiful as
her eyes, but they were sort of interesting to look at, therefore, beautiful.
"I think great is not the vord, vut I vish you get chosen" and truly she meant it. Wouldn't it be great to be in a Triwizard Tournament with another boy named Cedric that was also from Hufflepuff?

And then, interruptions.
"And you are vanted, Mr. Leone" her eyes followed the boy who was waving at the Hufflepuff Prefect. Leone. Interesting. Danika wondered about whether Cedric would be pureblood or not.
She would've pointed at the boy greeting him, but it wasn't like her to point, plus she had the book in her arms. Oh, the book. How long was she in the Library? Perhaps it was time to leave.
"Thanc you for helping me choose, Cedric" she said, and leaned forward to give him a quick kiss on his cheek,
"I vill see you around" and then she started to walk away, because Cedric was needed somewhere else, was he not?
