Preston let go of MJ finally and took a step back and smiled up at her.
"Y-yes." He said nodding his head.
"I-I-I d-d-don't k-k-know a-any-anyone else." He told her, and he did have a little feeling that MJ might have just abandoned him after Diagon. But he had found her after all, and that's all that mattered.
Preston suddenly got an odd feeling of strong emotion when she promised she'd never disappear. He looked down at his shoes and fidgeted with the bottom of his button up shirt. He remembered his mum saying she'd never leave him...but she did.
"I-I-I w-was j-just l-looking..." He mumbled softly still looking at his shoes.
MJ kneeled next to him, and looked into his eyes. "What's wrong, dear? Did I say something?" She really hoped she ha-- oh. "My promises aren't empty ones. I don't make promises I can't keep."
She gave him a slight peck on the forehead, and shifted her weight to the other leg. "There's nothing wrong with looking!" she laughed genially. "We could look all day.`Anywhere and everywhere!"
