And I mean, he was fighting back when... Oh no!" Her eyes got wide as she remembered. "Oh no, he almost died then from blood loss... He told me he was going to be okay, but I thought I saw him at St Mungo's that summer. I didn't see him this summer though..."
She was confused and conflicted. What she really wanted to do was go to Raiden and ask him straight out. "But you'd think if it was that bad, he would have died from the nervousness of adding his name, or at least gotten sick, and I don't think that happened. So I don't think it's quite as bad as you say, but I suppose that still doesn't mean it could be trouble." She looked back at Raiden again. He looked perfectly fine! He looked healthy! And not talking to him was going against every instinct. But then... she had promised. But none of this made any sense!
Eli leaned toward her.
"Quiet, you! Don't be so obvious!" he whispered, glancing at the Prefect who did not seem to have overheard.
"Trust me. I have it on a VERY reliable source. It's-"
But then someone came into the room and sat down nearby.
BESTIE ALERT!

Ellie walked into the room with the wicked cool Goblet. If ooonly she had a camera, that would be sooo cool. She took a seat to watch all the older students enter. She spotted Nia and watched with utmost interest, she was talking to... someone else, but she hoped she would put her name in.
"ELLIE!" Eli cheered, waving her over.
"Get over here! Serious business is afoot!" he said cheerfully, as though the dying prefect was the best news ever.
Well, it
was exciting, at least.
