Ella listened to him, utterly surprised.
"It's not that I don't believe you," she said finally, after a hefty silence,
"It's just that I don't want to believe you." At the end, her voice broke, and she looked down at the ground herself. This was too much for her to process.. even though she only knew Bradin by a couple of encounters, it wouldn't deny the fondness she felt for him. And to hear that he would be leaving.. not only Hogwarts, but the
world, developed so much sadness in her that tears welled up in her eyes. She turned to Bradin, trying to blink them out.
"You mean very much to a lot of people, Bradin," she told him with a watery smile. Ella couldn't bottle up her feelings anymore; she got up and embraced him tightly. Now, there was a legitimate excuse to be hugging someone besides your girlfriend - 'I'm gonna die.'
