Bodicea walked slowly down the hall, marveling at all the detail. She had heard Beauxbatons was fancier, but she liked Hogwarts all the same. Noticing the portraits on the walls, she smiled at them, and watched the ones she passed look at her out of the corners of their eyes, pretending they were normal pictures.
Suddenly she spoke in rapid Gaelic, watching some of their eyes widen. She laughed, and did it again. It was a relatively harmless sentence, along the lines of: "I can see you all watching me, all of you living paintings!" but it startled them nonetheless.
Some of them began to murmur, wondering if she was insulting them, and she cheerily told them she was not--but in Gaelic of course. They all gasped and stared. Then she smiled, winked, waved, told them good bye in perfectly unaccented English, and skipped off down the hall again. Sometimes she was a little rude like that--leaving them wondering--but not always. She would see them again, and tell them what she was saying....just not yet.
