Oh and he had "30 seconds." Startiiiiiiiiiing...................... NOW.
Iris watched the professor as she said that the tingling can get uncomfortable.... and as she told him to explain, or lose points.
And ... in 30 seconds.
Remind Iris to NEVER get on the wrong side of this teacher, mmkay?
The girl looked at Jimbo, with a small glare that said "lose us points and I'll shave your hair off in your sleep."
Which was probably a bit harsh...
But he'd deserve it.

Oh, WOW. She really can be quite scary. He had half a mind to be difficult and act like this was a regular small talk conversation, saying something along the lines of, 'And you are?'. But no. Not after she gave him that look. It seems that he was in enough trouble already. Darn his curiousity.

Dropping to his knees, he was at her feet. "I'M SORRY! I WAS JUST CURIOUS! I wanted to know what would happen, I thought maybe I would grow a beard or age permanently. Although, it seems nothing much has happened. Why the age restrictions, Professor, WHY?!? It only makes me CURIOUS! BUT I DON'T WANT TO LOSE HOUSE POINTS PLEASE DON'T HURT MEEEEE!" He wasn't counting his words, but the way he was rambling he was willing to bet it was more than 50. On the bright side, since he was going so fast there was no doubt it was under thirty seconds.
But as he stared up at the professor he noticed that he seemed to be getting shorter? Or he was shrinking? What was happening?
Unaware of it, Jimbo seemed to be getting...well, fluffier. Feathery. His legs got shorter, getting skinny, growing talons. His arms grew feathers - everything grew feathers. Green feathers. His mouth and nose protruded into a long black beak. When the process was complete, there lay a green bird staring up at Professor Saylen among a pool of Slytherin robes - wearing Jimbo's tie. The girl watched Jimbo with her arms crossed as he practically BEGGED the teacher... Kid was actually mental.
Well, at least it was more than 50 words.
And in about 20 seconds.
Jimbo's explaination FOR THE WIN. Hehe.
"Uh..." Okay, what the heck was she meant to say to the fact that Jimbo seemed to be getting SMALLER. Iris watched her friend as he started to grow FEATHERS. What on Earth?!

Watching Jimbo turn into a bird was simply FREAKY. And that beak was incredibly long and pointy.
O_O ... Jimbo, don't you dare come and poke me with your beak, her eyes seemed to warn.
Iris looked from the little green bird on the ground, to the professor and back again.

Sigh. She didn't understand what he was saying...and that was really more than 50 words, wasn't it. Not that Maya had been serious about that part...or the 30 seconds either. But whoa, she had to hand it to him -- he did stick to the time limit.
Maya didn't actually know what else the boy would experience besides the weird transformation of his foot. She had been...hoping, for the good of the boy, that nothing else was going to happen -- that she got him out on time.
But...it was pretty obvious by the time she was looking down at the green bird, that she had not. Sigh.
Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh. "This...is ridiculous." She turned to look around the room. "Who does this bird belong-" Eh. It had been a boy. "Just make sure he doesn't get eaten up by a cat." She spoke to no one in particular. Maybe his friends could help him, or he'd manage to flutter off for help aaaaaaaaaall by himself.
She caught sight of another boy, sitting down with a silly face. What was HE looking so happy about?
Maya stepped over the bird and robes and regarded the boy on the bench. "You." Pursing of lips. "You find this amusing?" Oh, he'd better not answer with a positive word.
"Maybe you'd like to join him?" Hmmmm?
Iris looked at the Professor as she begun to ask who the bird belonged to. And then her eyes got wiiiiiiide when the lady said something about Birdy!Jimbo being eaten by a cat.
OOOOOH NOOOO! That was bad. Jimbo COULDN'T get eaten by a CAT.
Okay, the teacher was telling someone else off now. Iris looked to Leilani and smirked. Then she crouched down and scooped the bird up. As she stood up, Iris held Birdy!Jimbo at face level
"Y'know Jimbo... I've always wanted a pet bird. Maybe we'll just keep you like this." Hehehe. Iris petted Birdy!Jimbo's head. GRIIIIN. Iris faced Leilani, glancing back down at Jimbo's robes on the floor.
"So Leilani, Shall we keep him like this for a while, take him to Lafay or take him to Kingsley?" Because... Lafay was their HoH. Kingsley was the Transfiguration teacher, and would be able to change him back.
