Lukas watched their dynamics with interest. The girl, Crummy, or whatever it was, didn't seem to have noticed Adam's attention yet which he thought was odd because it was quite disconcerting to him.

"You bake?" he asked with interest. "Did you bake those?" he asked, pointing at the cookies she had offered him. He looked impressed.

Lukas smiled back. "I know how that feels," he replied. "I've only met two girls so far," he added. "So, you can come to me for guy time, Adam," he said friendlily.
