Kurumi, who could not possible fall asleep after all the excitement of being sorted, meeting so many amazing people, and getting her first look at the Gryffindor Common Room, decided to explore the castle when she pleasantly surprised herself by finding her way to the kitchen. Every so slowly, for she had no idea what lie behind it's great doors, she opened the door and took a peak inside. She let out a soft gasp as she saw strange small creatures running around washing dishes and putting away left over food - some of which she recognized to be food from the feast. Shyly, she stepped into the kitchen and knelt down next to the nearest of the small things offering a small head nod of a bow before speaking. "Um...hello..." she whispered so as not to frighten the poor thing. "This may be rude...but...what are you?" she was not sure she had read about these beings in her muggle magical creatures books and maybe she had just not gotten to the part in her Hogwarts textbook that mentioned them.
