Default Review: Vampires Don't Sleep Alone: Your Guide to Meeting, Dating & Seducing a Vamp

Fans of vampire-laden series' like Twilight and True Blood who are not opposed to a bit of fun would definitely get a kick out of Vampires Don't Sleep Alone: Your Guide to Meeting, Dating and Seducing a Vampire. The book is more of a satirical look as to how a woman can obtain the undead man of her dreams, and gives tips as to how best to pursue the venture. Authors Elizabeth Barrial and D. H. Altair sprinkle the witty and tongue-in-cheek narrative with historical facts and popular myths about vampires to strengthen the 'how-to' tips, so to speak.

For the fan who can take the fact that the authors are entirely in jest, and of course not giving actual advice on finding a vampire to seduce, then it's one to appreciate and relate to. Just don't take the lists of pros and cons of dating a vampire, and how to dress appropriately too seriously. And do remember to turn on the lights.

With historical nods to Nosferatu and the city of Pompeii, readers will understand the earlier stories of vampires and its origins while amusing themselves with the dating guide. A definite read for a fan who can take a joke when it comes to the hunky vampire of their dreams.

Vampires Don't Sleep Alone: Your Guide to Meeting, Dating and Seducing a Vampire can be purchased now at Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk.
