And a suave young man who looked awesome in Slytherin uniform did not sulk ... in public places.
Speaking of pretty ladies, Jack spotted Cosette, not surprisingly sat at the Ravenclaw table. Now, if Jack had remembered correctly, Ravenclaws were the clever bunch. And, although Jack was clever (it came with being awesome at everything), he still felt the teeniest bit intimidated, because these guys were really dedicated to their intelligence. When to Jack, it was just a bonus. So, Jack walked over there anyway, seeing that there were people from other houses sat there too, so they didn't mind, and sat with his back facing the table, but next to Cosette. "You're on your again, darling. Waiting for me to come along?" He smirked, leaning his elbows on the edge of the table.
Cosette had put her chalice back down and was buttering a baguette when a notable figure sat down next to her. Placing the knife down, she took a bite of the fluffy and flaky bread. Oh, it reminded her of home. Every morning at breakfast she would eat a bowl of fruit and a few baguettes that Hesley would leave out for her while she and Papa would read the Daily Prophet. If he was home at the time, of course.
Wiping her mouth with her index finger, in case she got any butter on her, she placed the delicacy on her plate. Noticing some butter on her finger, she stuck i in her mouth, licking it off. Smiling over at Jack, who seemed to be in clad of Slytherin green.
"You know I have a fondness for sitting by myself," she paused to glance and see a boy from Beauxbatons. Did she know him? Shaking her head, she looked back at Jack.
"Just waiting for a dashing young man to come and converse with me." Her french accent heavy with each word.
