The sorting JUST closed a few days ago, but about every three months, it opens up for a period of about two weeks... and you take a quiz in which you will be hand-sorted by the admin team. It is this house in which you get to play a character in the School RPG
... To become a Quidditch Captain, it is being an active member of your House Quidditch team, generally no less than one term. In addition to being on your House team, you should also be active around the school too. On SS, you tryout for Quidditch and it's very much trivia-based.... and being the fastest to answer the question.
There isn't really any other Quidditch stuff, except maybe discussions. OH wait, there's the
Virtual Quidditch game in the WWW forum
