Preston turned to a girl who he realized was talking to him.
"H-h-hello." Preston said to her giving another yet much smaller goofy grin to.
"I-I-I-I g-g-guess so." Preston agreed nodding his head. He cocked his head to the side and looked at her, she looked like he was around his own age, maybe eleven or twelve, thirteen at the most. But Preston was quite bad at judging someone's age.
"I-I-I'm P-P-P-Pre-Preston T-T-T-Tur-Turn-Turner." Preston introduced himself sticking his hand out to the girl. Maybe he'd share his Fudge Flies with her once he got some. "
W-w-w-what's y-y-your name?" He asked, curious to see who she was.

Looking back toward the boy Legend nodded. Yeah right. The boy was so totally scared. Funny. Legend had never been scared to come to hogwarts. He had heard about it way too much from his sister. "What's with the stutter?" Legend asked bluntly. This kid was stuttering like mad. Like he WAS nervous. Running his hands through his hair he thought for a moment about what would be the easiest way to explain Hogwarts.
"A crazy mad place with a bunch of kids holding up sticks and throwing spells and even crazier Professors and a random crazy thing that happens every year. Oh. And crazy animals." Crazy. That was a good word. The soon to be fifth year smiled brightly. "Don't worry though you'll get used to it."
It was true he would. And SCORE finally they were at the front. "I'll take....7...no 9 packs of Cauldron cakes. Two for my little trippers here." Legend said grinning as he gave the money to the lady and passed one cake to both first years.
Preston watched the older boy carefully, not sure if he could trust him or not. He looked down at his feet with a shamed face when he asked about his stutter. He gave a deep sigh, knowing he should know how to answer the question that everyone ended up asking sooner or later, but he just didn't like having to answer it, why couldn't people just not care about it?
"I-I-I-I d-d-d-don't know." He shrugged still looking at his shoes.
He bit his lip as he took the Cauldron cake from the boy.
"Th-thanks." He stuttered quietly. He wanted to turn around and go find a place to sit for the remainder of the train ride. He listened as he explained Hogwarts, still looking at his shoes and fiddling with the wrapper of the Cauldron cake. He noticed that the boy kept using 'crazy' and that was starting to freak Preston out on the inside, maybe it was a mistake, him being a wizard!
