And as nice as that was, she really didn't like all the kissy kissy from her mum as she was saying goodbye for her last year. 'Twas rather embarrassing.

But she had waved them off, and turned on her heels onto the train, dragging a rather heavy choklit laden trunk behind her, which she duly dropped off with the others. Brand new owl cage, complete with a slowly hooting owl, in hand, Sarah strolled down the corridor towards the Prefect Compartment. She was hella nervous, that's for sure. Last term, and the one before, she had been sitting there all happy and waiting for the HG & HB to deliver their speech to the rest of them. Now it was her turn to do it - along with OLIVER....She was still yet to get over that little detail. SHOCKER!

Peering in through the glass, Sarah's face lit up as she spotted the one someone she was most looking forward to seeing. Lori Bristol. Best Friend Extraordinaire. And now A PREFECT TOO! WOOOOOOO. Grinning from ear to ear, she slid back the door and eased Screech's cage inside, quickly followed by her own body. "Loriiiiiii," she squealed, putting the cage on the floor and launching herself at her fellow Huffie. "Ohhhh, you look so good with that badge on." Which reminded her - Badge!

Taking it out from her robe pocket, she carefully pinned it to the left side of her chest. "How does that look?" she grinned.
Being first into the compartment was not so fun, it was so boring, and to anyone who peered inside, well she just looked like a loner. Which, we would like to point out, she is NOT. Lorelai Bristol, is in no way a loner. HMPF.

She hadn't had much to say goodbye to, just Donovan, and that had been heartwrenching, to say the least. Poor kid, she supposed atleast it was the last time she'd have to leave him again, apart from christmas. The last time, ever. Because she couldn't do it again. Not to him, not again.

Lori looked up as the door slid open and grinned, SARAH! "Saraaahhhhhhh!" She squealed, attempting to get up from her seat, but just being pinned back down by a hug. Scary bloody best friend. Heh. Releasing Sarah as she spoke, Lori nodded. "I look good without the badge. I make this badge look good. Riiiiiiight?" She laughed lightly, and posed once with a little pout before laughing again. She couldn't help being vain/

After all, she was Lorelai Bristol.

She laughed once more as Sarah pinned her Head!Girly badge onto her robes, and then smiled. "I'm so so so so so proud of you, you know thatttt?"

Lori happened to glance up and smile as Brant walked in, and she nodded at his greeting. "Hey Brant!" Sure, they hadn't spoken in school before, but she knew him. Of course she knew him. He had been the Gryffindor captain, and she was a Quidditch fan/player-at-times. "Summer was g-" The brunette raised an eyebrow as a young boy entered the compartment.

Brant had decided to address the boy, so Lori left him to it, Brant was more than capable, right?

Now she to deal with the two twits all the time.

Her prefect badge was pinned to the bottom of her jumper - hopefully so people would miss it when they glanced her over. She wasn't exactly delighted about the job - she'd miss out on all the fun but the fact that the little mites had actually STOPPED yelling when she'd asked them to had been awesome. Muahhaha. Cameron had POWER! *evilcackle*
And while she wouldn't be able to do anything against the rules she was meant to be enforcing, she could make everyone elses life just as miserable. So pretty much, everyone in Gryffindor had to do their homework and attend classes or they'd face the wrath of Cameron. MUAHAHAH!

She HAD wanted to see Oliver, but nooooo, she had to trekk it down all the way to the back of the train to do Prefectory stuffs. Urgh. She slid the compartment door open and found a nice room. Wow. The Prefects and HG/HB really did get a sweet little area. Speaking of which.. who WERE the Head boy and Head girl? Eh. She'd find out soon enough. Glancing at who was already inside, she saw Lori.

Oh. Someone to talk to. That was nice. But what was she doing here? But her brown eyes were drawn to something flashy. Something shiny. Something that looked suspiciously like a Hufflepuff Prefect badge. *GASP*

"LOLLLLLLLY!" She exclaimed with a giggle and BIIIIIIIIIG hug. teheh! "Prefect! Omg. You're a prefect! You didn't tell meeee!" *pout* Because obviously, she should've been one of the first people to know. Releasing her, she looked to the girl standing next to her. *squiiint* Was that a Head Girl badge? Wasn't this chikka.. um.. wait.. she knew this! .. er.. SARAH! That's right. heh.

"Haiiiii." *smiley*
Again.

Again, the door opened.
Again, it was a best friend.

WAIT?! A BEST FRIIIIIEND! EEEE! ZOMG!

Lori giggled as Cammy SQUEEEALED her name and then hugged her. "Camelottttttt! I'm a prefect! See, told youuu! I haven't seen you since... you know.. So you can't blame me! Besides, why didn't YOU tell ME?!" HMPF! Lori was SO important enough to know about Camelot's badge. She was, she was.

[b]"Cam you know Sarah, riiiiiight? She's our Head Girlyyyyyyy!"[b] Now, who on EARTH was Head Boy. And was he hot? Because Lori totally had claims, despite having a boyfriend. Hot Head Boy's were n--

The lanky boy with the curly hair hovered outside the Prefects compartment, biting his cheek and contemplating whether to go in, or to follow his cowardice gut and bolt. He could go and sit with the troublemakers at the back of the train where he would feel more at home; because, still there was a niggling at the back of his twitchy mind telling him that there had been a mix up here, and the badge in his pocket (which he hadn't yet had the nerve to pin to his robes) had been intended for someone else. Someone more deserving. Someone more CAPABLE fer Merlin's SAKE!

Guh.

He glanced through the glass door, seeing there were already people in there. Oh... gawd.. he should suuuu make a run for it! Now, while he still had the chance!

But... he knew had to do this. The Gryffindor bravery the Slytherin claimed he had didn't extend beyond theatrics and showy stuff... like saving a couple of second years from the swamp on the fifith floor or attacking the Whomping Willow. Internal trepidation was enough to make him regret accepting this challenge.
He closed his eyes, took a breath, opened the door and entered.

Green eyes moved from Cam to Lori to Sarah to Brant and back again. Wait a sec! CAMERON! Sarah must have invited she and the Shoe Demon in here to keep her company. He didn't even know Cam and Sarah were close. His eyes fell on Lori's badge. LORI was a prefect!!? ...Erm.. like, seriously!? He screwed up his face totally missing the badge pinned to the bottom () of Cam's jumper.

Blehhhhhhh...

Tate had lost his marbles hadn't he? Appointing Oliver and Lori to be responsible leaders was complete and utter CRAZINESS.

But of course Oliver smirked through his nervousness and self doubt, hiding it like only a a true Snake could. The crafty bugger somehow even managed to look amused by all that was going on as he looked at the prefectos and Cam.

“Well isn't this cosy.” His eyes glinted darkly, mischievous smirk not leaving his lips as those sarcastic words left his gob. “But there's waaay too much yellow in here if you ask me.” Ah, ironic jokes already. What a perfect way to start a perfect journey. “Congrats you three.” He said to the two Huffies and Brant. The smirk became a smile.

And so his attention turned to the most important person in the room and he smiled warmly at Cameron. The sort of sweet, innocent smile he reserved for the girl he adored. He gave her quick, albeit awkward because there were people watching, peck on the cheek. “I wasn't expecting to see you in here...” More to the point, was she expecting to see him? He hadn't told her he was Head Boy lest he jinx it and received a letter telling him it had all been a silly mistake. He didn't want to look like a fool. "'S a nice surprise." *Smiley.*
-- OLIVER?!

"Glitter!Poodle. What are youuuuuu doing here?" Lori's eyebrows knitted together in confusion, and she just stared. STARED at him. Not for the fact she was trying to work out why he was in here, but more because she hadn't seen him since her almost-breakdown at the fountain, and she was certain he was going to mention it, and make her feel stupid for speaking to him of all people.

The Prefect discarded his congratulations, and just continued to watch him, before speaking. "Prefects, and Head Peoples only, Glitter!Poodle. I know you stalk me, and stuff, but later. Not now, i'm busy. And so is Camelottttt!" The extended emphasis on the 't' in Cammy's nickname came as he pecked her best friend [or one of them, we seem to have a lot] on the cheek. There was SO a time and a place for that. Like, NOT infront of Lorelai when she was in STARE AT OLIVER mode!

Now, back to Hot Head Boy's. That's it. Waaaaalk through the door, Mr. McHotford.
