Shifting Nova, the small tan rabbit in one arm, and the clear plastic frog carrier in her other, Katie wasn't paying close attention to her surroundings as she started down the train corridor in search of the boys, and then a compartment. Thankfully, she did look up right in time to stop abruptly in front of Orlando without actually running into him. "Lando! There you are,"
Now where were they? He had seemingly looked everywhere on the train, but he could not find Hailey or Jaxon anywhere. No doubt Hailey was off meeting new people; she seemed to attract people, especially guys. He scowled at the thought, not at all impressed with that fact. She was 13, and while it was okay in his mind to have friends who were boys...he had a feeling that a few of those might turn into more.
He continued down the corridor, following behind a girl. When she came to a sudden stop, he stepped right into her. He managed to reach up one arm to steady himself against the wall of the train. "Whoa. Sorry about that." He apologized.
