"Go ahead and take a seat...there's plenty of arm chairs so make yourself comfortable!" he told him, gesturing towards the big puffy chairs along the wall. He sort of liked them, yet sort of hated them at the same time...they made him feel like he was working in a waiting room ~~which he kind of was~~ and he was a secretary ~~which WAS in his title. Hmmm...~~

"Oh, I'll bet. So how are things down there? How's the new Department Head?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. He had to admit, he was rather curious about the person who'd taken over his former job. "And how are they dealing with Dan?" he added with a mischevious smile.
