He grunted as if to reply to her question. He couldn't quite form words yet. Was it a her? What was a her? Her voice had a certain lighter air to it, so she had to be a her. He tried to walk towards her but ended up tumbling down on his face. He couldn't get up. The only word he could form in his mouth, which seemed like the only word he'd spoken in his life, was
"Help."
