Things have been different/cut/changed since film one.
Why wouldn't he interrupt them? This is the movie, not the book.
People STILL STILL STILL don't want to accept this.
Scenes should be judged in the films for the quality of the scene. The acting, the cinematography, the sets, the props, the music, and the script, not for how closely it follows the book. It's the same plot, not every scene needs to be exactly the same.
