Jennifer felt the spinning slowing and knew that she was there at the Leaky Cauldron. She opened her eyes hesitantly when the spinning finally stopped, she hated traveling by the Floo network. If it hadn't been for her parents she would've come through the muggle world, and even though she had no idea how or where she still wanted to try something new.
"Pfft," She muttered as she brushed some ashes from the colar of her coat and waited for the nauseous feeling to subside. Urrgh, how she hated the over-protectivity of her parents, and she was going to get a new broom whether they liked it or not. They didn't have any idea that she'd been saving her pocket money for a while now to buy herself a decent racing broom, her only request which her father had refused without any explanation although she guessed that he was afraid she'd fall off the broom and break her neck. Her broom was one of the most old fashioned brooms on earth, and it was turtle slow.
She walked out of the fire place remembering that someone else may arrive any second and being thrown out of the firplace would be annoying. Yet the moment she walked, a strong feeling of dizziness and nausea overwhelmed her that she had to lean back on the wall facing the fireplaces, close her eyes and tried to breath regularly.
After the wave of nausea had subsided she straightened her clothes and held her handbag more tightly on her shoulder, and headed towards the door leading to the Leaky Cauldron, thinking about having a drink before going shopping.
