Victoire gave him a half-smile, knowing that Lex was causing everyone grief. It wasn't her presence but her rude actions that caused everyone to become grieved. "I hope so, babe," She murmured, glad that it was simply the two of them. It had been a little while since they had been alone and it felt wonderful. Sure, they were going to the Yule Ball tomorrow and they would be visiting each others families over the holidays, but they would be surrounded by others and would barely have time to speak to each other so intimately. "I just realized something," She muttered, her smile growing, "We've been together for over three months. I think that might be somewhat of a record for us both, not counting a few other people." She referred to Teddy and Lex, but Matt would understand what she meant.
