Matt took back the ring box and looked at the stones shimmering in the light. "I know man, it's just... I don't know. Am I crazy? I mean, It's me. I don't do this kind of thing... Hell, I'm the king of hook-ups." He looked up at his one time friend, and found himself wondering why he was suddenly confiding in someone he hadn't spoken to in years, other then the occasional hello. "Like, It's really weird, you know? Ever since we got together, I don't want that life anymore. I want someone waiting for me to come home every night. I want someone to wake up with in the mornings." He laughed a little and lay the still open box on the table infront of him.. "It feels weird saying it... But that's what I want." Kyle nodded. "I can understand that." He said slowly. "He's in the music room now, if you want to try to get him to hear you out. I didn't tell you that either, if he asks." He replied as he got up from his chair. "And if you need someone to talk to, I'm here, you know." he stretched and made his way to his dorm to finish his homework.
