Chapter 12
We were on the train heading to Hogwarts and I could not have been more nervous. Staying in one place is a terrible idea for any demigod, but these people could be traitors. Worse than that we still have no choice but to befriend them (remind me to yell at Rachel).
The train took an unexpected swerve and Percy slid down the bench in our compartment. Knocking Harry into Hermione, Hermione into Ron, and I just started laughing. Why shouldn’t I?
“Listen, we are going to have our heading of houses explain…this…..to everyone. So until then just lie low, and please don’t do anything stupid,” Hermione patronized…again.
“Yes,” Percy exclaimed sarcastically, “because we’re really good at that,” he shot me a crooked smile. The door slammed open and a scared little kid peeked through.
“Sorry,” he was stuttering, “she…she told me to come find you,” I leaned back and gripped my knife. I was already planning an escape route. “They’re HERE,” the kid called down the hall. I heard the familiar sound on Percy uncapping Riptide as a woman gently pushed the child aside.
“Hello dears,” a pink clad woman whispered in a fake soprano. “I’m sorry to barge in, but unfortunately like I told you before naughty children deserve to be punished,”
