Lexi tromped through the throng of students trying to find a compartment. Sigh. She hated that she couldn't find Dylan. SAD FACE! Finally spotting a nearly empty compartment she smiled and slid the door open. "Jake? Do you mind if I join you?" Lexi asked with a big smile. She liked the formerly thumbless Huffie. One point for him. Lexi had a serious prejudice against Huffies.
Hearing the door slide open, Jake turned his head slowly to face whoever was there, and a little smile tugged at the corners of his lips.
"Sssure," he said softly, nodding his head and shifting over as though there wasn't enough space. One of those gestures people did, he reckoned.
"Alexa, isn't it?" the boy asked, going through his memory of names. He hadn't been very sociable at all this year, so it was easy to remember from further back.
